Our approach is centered around the idea that dining is more than just a meal; it’s a production—an intricate event woven together with both tangible and intangible elements. Whether through intimate private chef experiences, bespoke catering for special occasions, or our curated collection of intentional, durable, and stylish everyday carry (EDC) products, we create multifaceted events that engage the senses and evoke feelings of connection, comfort, and joy.

Our Vision
We envision a world where dining is a cherished production, marked by connection and creativity. As we continue to grow, our commitment to excellence and innovation remains steadfast. We strive to push the boundaries of culinary arts while staying true to our core values of authenticity, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
My culinary journey is deeply rooted in my upbringing and experiences that have shaped my perspective on food and hospitality. Raised as a vegetarian, I spent summers on a farm where I was intimately involved in the production of corn and cattle, witnessing the entire process from the field to plate. This instilled in me a profound appreciation for the connection between food and its origins.
As a teenager, I immersed myself in various restaurant environments, from cozy Italian eateries to eclectic cafes with diverse menus. These experiences not only expanded my palate but also fueled my passion for the culinary arts. My time with the National Outdoor Leadership School in Baja, Mexico further deepened my understanding of food preparation in remote settings, where creativity and resourcefulness were essential.
Transitioning to crafting outdoor equipment for white-water rafting expeditions, I learned firsthand the importance of reliability and performance in demanding environments. This hands-on experience laid the foundation for my foray into chef-driven outdoor adventures, where I orchestrated intimate gatherings and curated memorable dining experiences amidst stunning natural landscapes.
My role as the Executive Chef at Rawah Guest Ranch allowed me to showcase my love for regional flavors, creating restaurant style dining experiences that celebrated the essence of the land. It's these diverse and intimate experiences, combined with a commitment to culinary craftsmanship and the creation of handcrafted products, that have ultimately inspired the creation of Thread and Butter.
